Terms and conditions
The rules for buying and selling on MyTixty.
Version 2026-10-17
Who we are
MyTixty is a marketplace registered in the United Arab Emirates. We provide the place where buyers and sellers meet, hold payment while a sale completes, and settle disputes between them.
We do not own, issue, price or possess any ticket sold here. Each sale is a contract between the buyer and the seller. We are a party to it only to the extent set out in these terms.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and give accurate details. One person, one account. You are responsible for anything done through yours.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently, or where we are required to by law.
Buying
The price shown on a listing is the total you pay, including our fee. Payment is taken when you place the order.
We hold your payment until you confirm the tickets have arrived, or until seven days after the seller marks them delivered, whichever comes first. If the tickets never arrive, or are not what the listing described, you are entitled to a full refund.
Orders cannot be cancelled once paid, because the seller has committed those tickets to you. This does not affect your rights where the event is cancelled or materially changed, or where the tickets are not delivered as described.
Selling
You may only list tickets you actually hold and are entitled to resell. You must deliver them through the platform, by the time stated on the listing.
Before we can pay you, we must verify your identity and your bank details. This is a legal requirement for sending money, not a preference.
Our commission is deducted from the sale. The rate applying to a listing is shown to you before you publish it.
Failing to deliver, delivering something other than what you listed, or arranging payment outside the platform may cost you your payout on that sale and your ability to sell here.
Resale is not legal everywhere
Some countries restrict or prohibit ticket resale, and many issuers' own terms forbid it. A venue may refuse entry to a resold ticket regardless of whether the ticket itself is genuine.
It is the seller's responsibility to be satisfied they may lawfully resell, and the buyer's to be satisfied they may lawfully attend. We do not give legal advice on either, and listing availability is not a statement that a resale is lawful where you are.
Disputes
Raise a problem with an order through the help page. We will look at what the platform holds — what was uploaded, what the issuer emailed, what each side said and when — and decide.
Our decision determines what happens to the payment we are holding. It does not stop either side pursuing the other, or us, through any route otherwise open to them in law.
What we are responsible for
We are responsible for holding your payment correctly, for handling a dispute fairly on the evidence available to us, and for keeping the platform reasonably available and secure.
We are not responsible for the conduct of the other party to your sale, for an event being cancelled, moved or disappointing, or for a venue's decision to refuse a ticket.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may change these terms. Material changes are published here with a new version date, and where they affect sellers we will ask sellers to accept the new version before they can continue selling.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
